The flotation process of lead ore mainly includes three stages: crushing, grinding, and flotation.
1. Crushing process
The lead ore is roughly crushed to 150mm-350mm using a jaw crusher, and then finely crushed using a cone crusher, with a particle size controlled at 20-60mm. The crushed lead ore is screened using a linear vibrating screen (with a mesh size of 0.5-6mm). The materials below the screen are temporarily stored, and the materials above the screen are returned to the cone crusher for fine crushing operations. After fine crushing, a belt conveyor is used to return to the vibrating screen, forming a closed circuit.
2.Grinding process
After screening, the lead ore enters the ball mill through a vibrating feeder. After grinding by the ball mill, it is classified by a spiral classifier. The coarse fraction returns to the ball mill for regrinding, forming a closed circuit. The fine fraction overflows into the filter for filtration, reducing the water content to 5-10%.
3.Flotation process
Add reagents such as pH adjusting agents, collectors, and foaming agents to the filtered pulp by the filter, stir evenly, and use the flotation machine to perform rough separation, cleaning, and scanning flotation operations to obtain concentrate and tailings.
