It is a very mature process to extract gold from gold ore by cyanidation. The advantages of this process are saving investment, short construction period, quick effect, and long-term, safe, stable and continuous operation of the mineral processing project. Taking the 1200t/d flotation tailings gold extraction project undertaken by Xinhai Ore Loading&Unloading Co., Ltd. as an example, this paper introduces the gold cyanide process flow.

Main equipment: flotation machine, ball mill, analysis tank, acid leaching tank, liquid storage tank, adsorption column, thickener, hydrocyclone, submerged pump, linear vibrating screen, vacuum filter, etc.
According to the project contract signed by both parties, the design scope of the project mainly includes: cyanide leaching system, reagent preparation system, desorption electrolysis system, smelting system, etc.
The specific process flow is as follows:
1. Cyanide leaching system: the raw ore flotation tailing pulp is pumped to the thickener before leaching, and concentrated to 40% concentration before entering the cyanidation leaching system for leaching and adsorption to obtain qualified gold loaded carbon.
2. Desorption electrolysis system: the qualified gold carrying carbon is sent into the desorption electrolysis system. Under the condition of high temperature and high pressure, the anion easily adsorbed by the active carbon is added into the desorption system to replace Au (CN) 2 -.
3. Smelting system: after acid cleaning and impurity removal, gold mud can be obtained and directly enter smelting to obtain gold ingot.
