1. Select according to the paragenetic minerals of talc
Under the condition that the ore is easy to be sorted and the air volume is not large, mechanical stirring flotation cells can be selected, such as xjk mechanical stirring flotation cell (often referred to as type A flotation cell in the concentrator), sf mechanical stirring flotation cell, jjf mechanical stirring flotation cell and xjb rod flotation cell.
When the selected ore particles are coarse, KYF, BS-K and CLF flotation cells suitable for coarse particles can be selected. When the ore is easy to be sorted, the particle size is fine, the grade is high, and the PH of the pulp is low, the flotation column with high rich ore ratio can be selected (especially suitable for the cleaning operation).
2. Select according to the scale of talc concentrator
The specification and model of the flotation cell shall be determined according to the daily processing capacity of the talc concentrator. The model of the flotation cell shall be in direct proportion to the scale of the concentrator. When the scale of the concentrator is large, the corresponding model of the flotation cell is also large. In addition, the specification and quantity of the flotation cell shall be determined through technical and economic comparison.
3. Selection of talc flotation equipment
The cleaning operation is mainly to improve the concentrate grade. The flotation foam layer should be thinner to separate gangue. Therefore, it is not suitable to use a flotation cell with a large air volume. Therefore, the flotation cell used for cleaning operation should be different from the flotation cell used for rough and sweep operations.
4. Considering the quality of flotation equipment and the supply of spare parts
After we determine the model and specification of the flotation cell, we should also check the equipment quality of the cooperative manufacturers and the supply of spare parts after production. Once the equipment has problems, whether the manufacturer can solve them quickly without affecting the project progress should be considered.
More advanced talc ore dressing processes include: photoelectric separation, foam flotation, bleaching, magnetic separation (dry and wet), hydrocyclone separation, scrubbing sedimentation concentration, centrifugal separation, spray drying, micro powder process and specific processes (such as talc layering, sterilization process, etc.).
Working principle of talc flotation cell: the flotation cell is driven by the motor V-belt to drive the impeller to rotate, generating centrifugal action to form negative pressure. When the impeller starts to run, the high-speed rotation of the impeller will form negative pressure. On the one hand, sufficient air will be sucked in to mix with the pulp, on the other hand, the pulp will be mixed with drugs, and at the same time, the foam will be refined, so that the minerals will adhere to the foam, float to the pulp surface, and then form a mineralized foam. With the increase of agitation, The generated foam keeps increasing. Adjust the height of the ram, control the liquid level, and the talc concentrate can be scraped out by the scraper.
