Extraction Method of Primary Gold Ore

Primary ore usually refers to ore that has not undergone oxidation. In the industrial field, we generally define the type of primary ore according to the degree of oxidation or sulfide of the ore. And the extraction method of the primary gold ore also need to be selected according to the degree of oxidation or sulfide of the primary gold ore.

1. Extraction method of primary gold ore - flotation process of gold-bearing sulfide ore

This beneficiation process is mainly aimed at sulfide, gold-bearing quartz vein ore and polymetallic gold-bearing sulfide ore with finer grain size and high floatability. Usually the flotation grade of this kind of gold concentrate is 40-50g/t. If a higher grade gold concentrate (160g/t) is desired, the zinc cyanide powder replacement process can be further used.

The specific process flow is as follows:

Put the primary gold ore into the original ore bin, use the trough feeder to send it to the jaw crusher for coarse crushing, and then enter the cone crusher for secondary crushing;

Use the belt conveyor (note: the electromagnetic iron separator and metal detector are installed on the belt conveyor) to transport the minerals to the ore vibrating screen, transport the minerals that meet the requirements to the powder ore bin, and then use the belt conveyor to transport the minerals to the ball mill for grinding. Here we usually use the wet grinding method;

After the ball mill, a pump and a cyclone are used to classify the minerals to select qualified pulp. Placing the pulp in the stirring tank, adding chemicals, etc. for pretreatment before flotation, and then adding it to the flotation machine (the beneficiation equipment involved in the process of adding chemicals is a stirring tank for chemicals and a numerical control dosing machine, etc.);

Among the minerals selected by the flotation machine, part of them are gold concentrates and the other part are tailings (tailings are not all worthless, and the selection of gold tailings can be completed by the beneficiation process);

After the separation stage, the minerals are dehydrated and dried by equipment such as concentrators to obtain pure gold concentrate; then the gold ore is refined into gold by industrial processing methods to increase the value of the minerals.

2. Primary gold ore extraction method - gold-bearing oxide ore gravity separation + flotation process

Taking an oxidized gold mine as an example, according to the characteristics of easy grinding and easy selection of minerals in this area, a φ2400×4200 ball mill is used to process about 800-1000 tons of ore, and the recovery rate can reach more than 95%.

The specific process flow is: stage grinding + one stage gravity separation + stage flotation; stage grinding + stage gravity separation + stage flotation method.

According to the analysis of the price of gold: the gold selected from the raw ore is processed into gold jewelry and accessories, which has a high investment value.

Primary gold ore contains minerals such as quartz sand and feldspar. According to the rise of silicon material this year, the comprehensive utilization and recycling of silica and feldspar contained in it can further increase the value of the ore.

The primary gold ore contains a variety of available ore resources. Using a reasonable beneficiation process to select the gold ore in the ore, including its associated minerals, can effectively improve the gold ore recovery rate and gold concentrate grade.
